Steering Committee
We are also looking for women in AA, who have 6 months of sobriety, to provide guidance and mentorship to the residents.
Our Steering Committee is currently seeking new volunteers. It is comprised of sober women volunteers from the Greater Houston area. The primary responsibility of the steering committee is to attend to the needs of the residents. This includes grocery needs, securing rides for the residents to appointments, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the house, assisting with Sunday morning breakfast, and to offer a source of hope an honest caring. If you are interested in joining the Steering Committee call the Center at (713) 645-9962.
Grantwriters
The Way Out Women’s Center is currently searching for grantwriters to help guide us – and hopefully work with us – on navigating the world of grants.
Click below if you have time to volunteer as a grantwriter or if you can consult with our marketing team from time to time.
